These terms are an agreement between you and the publisher of Fernsa Kuche, identified in the box at the end of this page. By opening and reading fernsa.com you accept them. They are short and, we hope, reasonable; if any of them is unacceptable to you, the remedy is simply to stop using the site.

What this site is

Fernsa Kuche is an editorial publication about traditional Austrian cooking. It offers recipes, cooking notes and cultural commentary, free of charge, for personal reading. Nothing on this site is offered for sale, and access is not conditioned on payment, registration or the disclosure of personal information.

Cooking from our recipes

You are welcome, and warmly encouraged, to cook every recipe we publish, in your own kitchen, for your family and friends, as often as you like. Print them, scribble on them, adapt them to your taste. Home cooking is exactly what they are for.

What remains ours

The written text, the arrangement of the recipes, the site design and the Fernsa Kuche name are the intellectual property of the publisher or are used under license. Republishing our text wholesale on another website, in a book or in an app, presenting it as your own or as your publication's, is not permitted without prior written consent. Quoting a short passage with a clear link back to fernsa.com is always fine.

Sensible kitchen caution

Recipes describe hot fat, sharp knives, raw meat and live ovens. You cook at your own risk and are responsible for handling ingredients and equipment safely, for checking that ingredients suit your own dietary needs and allergies, and for verifying that food reaches safe temperatures. No warranties

The site is provided as it stands. We work to keep the recipes accurate and the site available, but we make no promise that either will be free of errors or interruptions. To the fullest extent the law allows, the publisher is not liable for losses arising from reliance on the content of this site, including the outcome of any dish.

Pages may include photography served from third party image services and, from time to time, advertising served by third party networks. Such material belongs to its respective owners. Outbound links are provided for convenience and do not imply our endorsement of the sites they lead to.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site to attempt unauthorized access to our infrastructure, not to scrape it at volumes that degrade service for other readers, and not to reuse it in any way that breaks applicable law.

Changes to the site and to these terms

We may revise, replace or retire content at any time, and we may update these terms. When we do, the revised version will appear on this page with a new effective date. Reading the site after that date constitutes acceptance of the revision.

Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising from the use of this website, are governed by the laws of Brazil, and the courts with jurisdiction over the publisher's registered seat shall have exclusive competence to resolve them, without regard to conflict of law principles.
